Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Coaching is a collaborative, client-led process that centers you as the expert on your own life and health. As a nurse coach, I create a supportive, non-judgmental space to help you clarify what matters most, explore possibilities for change, and take meaningful steps forward. Together, we focus on awareness, choice, and sustainable action.

  • Many cancer coaches draw from their personal experience as survivors, which can offer meaningful perspective. My work is informed by years as an oncology nurse—caring for and listening to thousands of patients, and noticing patterns in what truly supports people and what often doesn’t.

I also take an inclusive, non-fixing approach: I’m not here to prescribe weight loss, rigid food rules, or supplements, but to support you as a whole person in ways that respect your body, values, and lived experience.

  • No, coaching services are offered on a self-pay basis. This allows our work to remain client-directed and not constrained by insurance requirements or documentation. Please reach out if you have questions about fees or options.

  • I charge $175 for 60 minutes, or $200 for 90 minutes for private coaching. Most of my clients appreciate the 90 minute session, as it allows for extended time to deepen our exploration.

I understand the financial toxicity of the cancer experience and feel privileged to offer need-based sliding scale pricing. If you are concerned about cost, please inquire.

  • Yes, I am pleased to work with clients from all over the country.

  • No, the goal of remission and the steps needed for its achievement are the job of a qualified oncologist. My job is to support you through the process. My work is not a substitute for medical care.

Coaching is designed to complement medical care, offering added support around processing, decision-making, and day-to-day living, rather than replacing treatment.

  • No. It is not my role to prescribe or treat, but to come alongside you and support you in discovering what works best for you. Health is highly individual, and together we can explore gentle, self-directed adjustments that support balance and feel aligned with your values and lived experience.
